Manipulation Rule

There was poison in the air on such a bitter afternoon Just wandering around with nothing better else to do Searching for an argument to get me through the day Anything to keep the pollution at bay Prying eyes watch every move I make and judge the stones I throw Laughing when I go too far and break my brittle bones Every move I make is filtered through stained shards of glass Hoping that the worst will never come to pass But sometimes I hate being this way I hate the games you play And the stupid prizes I beg for One day I'll get over my shame I'll quit playing your games And then stomp you out to settle the score I know the rules Know the cruel lies you spoon-fed me Now I'm playing too And I'm bending the rules Better run from me. Now I'm in too deep to care if I become evil like you No time to play nice when I've got my own self worth to prove But those prying eyes don't care and their judgement is passed They've abandoned me and they aren't coming back I'll just go where evil people go It's all I've ever known and I don't have any other home I know I'm reaping what I sow I dug my grave I know so I'll lay in it and leave you alone ... Sorry.
